Hasselhoff reprised the role of Michael Knight for the made-for-TV movie, Knight Rider (2008). The movie was created to reintroduce a new Knight Rider TV series (2008). Hasselhoff had a small cameo in the movie, but was not invited to participate in the TV series. Prior to this, he starred in the TV movie Knight Rider 2000 (1991), a sequel to the original TV series. Here, he is Michael Knight in his car, KITT.
