Hoff the Wall: David Hasselhoff Live with Huffington Post

Friday, March 8th, 2013

Today, David Hasselhoff was a guest on Huffington Post Live about the recent protests over the Berlin Wall being taken down. He says the best way to fight money is with money, and would be willing to do whatever it takes to keep the wall, even if that means doing a concert. He wants to raise enough money to even buy back the property from developers.

President Reagan famously told Gorbachev to “tear it down,” but Berliners (and guest David Hasselhoff) want to stop the demolition of the last parts of the Berlin Wall.

Rock for Doc Concert April 15

Tuesday, March 5th, 2013

David Hasselhoff will be joining a slew of other singers and performers for the Rock for Doc concerts beginning April 15 in Australia.

David announced he was going to help out The Angels frontman back in February by recording an acoustic version of the band’s 1978 hit song Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again for iTunes. Proceeds would go to The Doc Neeson Support Fund and Support Act Ltd, a non profit organisation set up to support members of the Australian music community who are dealing with adversity. Neeson was recently diagnosed with a brain tumour and put on an immediate course of chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

For generations, Doc’s on stage theatrics have lured in many loving fans and sold millions of records worldwide. Since forming the Keystone Angels in Adelaide in 1974, Doc has now racked up 38 years with the band and it’s many different lineups, released two solo albums, acted in the mini series ‘Spirited’ and ‘Holy Smoke,’ formed bands with friend David Lowy and performed at numerous charity events. Inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 1998 and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2009, The Angels’ 38 years of powerhouse rock’n’roll is etched into the Australian music history landscape.

As a show of respect and support for Doc, The Angels, Bob Spencer, James Morley, Buzz Bidstrup and Jim Hilbun plus a stellar cast of artists including: Rose Tattoo, Jon Stevens, Steve Balbi (Noiseworks), Jimmy Barnes and Don Walker (Cold Chisel), Rob Hirst and Jim Moginie (Midnight Oil), Baby Animals, Mark Gable (Choirboys), Diesel, The Radiators, Mi-Sex, Red Pheonix with Peter Northcote, Diva Demolition and personalities from all areas of the music industry including Jonesy & Amanda from WSFM, are coming together on this special night to ’Rock For Doc’.

The proceeds from this event will assist Doc through this difficult time with medical treatment and day to day living expenses. Kindly donating their time and support are: The Enmore Theatre for the venue, Catalyst PR Co-ordinating and Publicity, Spitfire Music Promoting/Management, Hyperbole Advertising, PowWow Studios, T-Rex Art, Cards 4 Kids, Jaden Social, Camelion Lighting, Rock Posters, Lizottes, Money Penny Services and friends along with a host of bands and celebrities performing on the night – more to be announced. Proudly presented by Support Act Ltd in association with Spitfire Music. All proceeds from the benefit go to the Doc Neeson Suport Fund.

The next show is The Melbourne Rock for Doc on Saturday, 20th April at The Cherry Bar (AC/DC Lane).

Buy tickets at Ticketek.com here. Tickets are $89 for standing room and reserved seating at Emore Theatre in Newtown.

David Hasselhoff Promotes Kaspersky and Tech Titan in Australia

Thursday, February 21st, 2013

The Hoff with the Tech Titan sponsored Manly Sea Birds cheerleaders

The multi-talented David Hasselhoff was in town to do some shows and also promote Kaspersky and Tech Titan.

Now 60-years-old, the Hoff is, of course, the body or the face or both, of Baywatch – that 1990s television show based around the exploits of a group of lifeguards that also included Pamela Anderson.

He is also a singer, producer and bodybuilder.

This event took place at Lizottes in Dee Why, NSW, and was followed by a public dinner and performance. ARN did get pictures of the Hoff mingling with the guys from Kaspersky (sponsors of the Manly Sea Eagles) and Tech Titan (sponsors of the Manly Sea Birds cheerleaders).

The Manly Sea Birds performed with Hasselhoff that night.

David Hasselhoff and Wippa Perform Together

Monday, February 18th, 2013

About a week and a half ago, we told you about Wippa performing with David Hasselhoff on February 15 at the Hi Fi bar.

That artist was Knight Rider and Baywatch legend David Hasselhoff who invited Wippa to be part of his big closing song at ‘An Evening With The Hoff’ at Hi Fi on 15 February 2013.

Wippa was prepared for The Hoff’s classic ‘Jump In My Car’ but it turned out that Hasselhoff was finishing his Australian shows with a cover of “Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again?” by old Aussie band The Angels.

Wippa, dressed in a Hoff-inspired black leather jacket and no shirt, had one line… the infamous ‘No way, get f***ed, f*** off’. Nova muted out the f-words in the video above but you get the idea.

The First Hoff Mania in Gmunden, Austria

Sunday, February 10th, 2013

Standing tickets are now on sale!

Movie star, soap star and music star David Hasselhoff is coming to Gmunden on Lake Traunsee in July for a series of concerts. As a special highlight, there will be a big concert on the town square. David will be there on July 20th with his band to rock the town square and give all of his hits for BEST. Not only that, David will also be there Thursday, 18 July in the city theater for an exclusive presentation. One thing is guaranteed: For only 500 visitors, there will be an unforgettable experience in Gmunden City Theatre.

“100 to 250 euros for a seat, 80 euros for standing room – which is of course an exclusive framework where not everyone goes. But to see a Hollywood star closer is not possible. Even up in the gallery, you sit no more than 25 feet away from him,” says Florian Werner, the show’s organizer.

“Looking For Freedom”, “Limbo Dance”, “Crazy For You” or “Hooked On A Feeling” are some of the songs to be heard at the concert.

KITT will also be seen at the event. ”He is an icon for young and old, and he is – what you should not forget. The most-watched series star in the world,” says Werner.
