The First Hoff Mania in Gmunden, Austria

Sunday, February 10th, 2013

Standing tickets are now on sale!

Movie star, soap star and music star David Hasselhoff is coming to Gmunden on Lake Traunsee in July for a series of concerts. As a special highlight, there will be a big concert on the town square. David will be there on July 20th with his band to rock the town square and give all of his hits for BEST. Not only that, David will also be there Thursday, 18 July in the city theater for an exclusive presentation. One thing is guaranteed: For only 500 visitors, there will be an unforgettable experience in Gmunden City Theatre.

“100 to 250 euros for a seat, 80 euros for standing room – which is of course an exclusive framework where not everyone goes. But to see a Hollywood star closer is not possible. Even up in the gallery, you sit no more than 25 feet away from him,” says Florian Werner, the show’s organizer.

“Looking For Freedom”, “Limbo Dance”, “Crazy For You” or “Hooked On A Feeling” are some of the songs to be heard at the concert.

KITT will also be seen at the event. ”He is an icon for young and old, and he is – what you should not forget. The most-watched series star in the world,” says Werner.

David Hasselhoff Gets Waxed for his 60th Birthday

David Hasselhoff's wax figure in Vienna, Austria

Can you believe David Hasselhoff turned 60 today?!

While you wrap your head around the fact that it’s been more than 20 years since you saw The Hoff run down a beach in his little trunks on Baywatch, we would also like to congratulate the actor on another achievement—becoming immortalized in wax.

Hasselhoff—looking über cool in a leather jacket—was the latest star to have his was figure unveiled, but you can only find this one at Madame Tussauds Museum in Austria.

Confused about its location? Don’t be.

Although it may seem strange that the 60-year-old’s statue is halfway across the world, his fame clearly burns brighter across the pond. And, as everyone knows, he’s huge in Germany—and clearly just as big with the neighboring Austrians.

Congratulations, David! Or should we say: Gratulation!

David Hasselhoff “Rocked the House” at Glock Horse Performance Center

Saturday, February 4th, 2012

Before the day’s sporting highlight – the first competition of the Gold Tour Championship – Gaston Glock and his wife Kathrin had a very special treat in store for the riders and the audience:

None other than Baywatch star David Hasselhoff had been flown in from the US to rock the riding arena. With classic party hits such as “Looking for Freedom” or “Limbo Dance”, “The Hoff” absolutely brought the house down.

Kleine Zeitung says David jumped into the saddle of one of the horses and rode around while singing “Looking for Freedom.”

Late Night Encore

After 10pm, events started shifting towards the Riders’ Lounge, where “The Hoff” made sure that everyone was rocking the night away: David Hasselhoff gave an exclusive private concert and insisted on treating the guests to a few encores, once again fueling the atmosphere to the breaking point. The result: the Riders’ Lounge was filled to the rafters with partying riders and guests who were clearly having a whale of a time…
