The Angels Single with David Hasselhoff Now on iTunes

Sunday, April 14th, 2013

David announced he was going to help out The Angels frontman back in February by recording an acoustic version of the band’s 1978 hit song Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again for iTunes. Proceeds would go to The Doc Neeson Support Fund and Support Act Ltd, a non profit organisation set up to support members of the Australian music community who are dealing with adversity. Neeson was recently diagnosed with a brain tumour and put on an immediate course of chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

You can now download the song on iTunes.

David will be performing for Rock for Doc starting tomorrow in Australia and continues through the week.

Buy tickets at Ticketek.com here. Tickets are $89 for standing room and reserved seating at Emore Theatre in Newtown.

Christmas With ‘The Hoff’ – ET Canada

Wednesday, April 11th, 2012

Check out the video here.

Every entertainment reporter has an interview wish list. It’s kind of like a letter to Santa but instead of a shiny new bike, you ask the big guy for just five-minutes with Oprah Winfrey, George Clooney or Bono. I too have one of these lists, but mine reads a little different than most.

It’s embarrassingly nostalgic; featuring iconic folks like William Shatner, Betty White and my first legitimate crush: Knight Rider. Well, Christmas came early this year because I finally got my one-on-one with David Hasselhoff.

The Christmas Consultant was shot in the quaint Vancouver suburb of Fort Langley, just around the corner from where I grew up. In the TV movie, The Hoff plays an over-the-top holiday planner with a dark secret and a passion for tacky ties (see the above photo).

Production transformed the town into a holiday happy land complete with fake snow and wreaths in doorways, and The Hoff was in his element. He delivered page after page of dialogue, and between takes he waved and smiled at the curious locals. Crew members said he was hard working and a class act. I would describe him as a 60-year-old man with the energy of a toddler on Christmas morning.

Once I got him in the director’s chair, The Hoff opened up about his new Welsh girlfriend; his love/hate relationship with the press and what holidays are like at the Hasselhoff Residence.

He was gracious, goofy and (in true holiday spirit)… giving.

This Morning – David drops in

Monday, January 16th, 2012

David was a guest on “This Morning” on Friday. Below is the interview for any who would like to watch.

The Magicians – David and magician Latimer invite you to join in a record-breaking card trick.

Thursday, January 12th, 2012

Episode 2 – This saturday BBC1 6.35pm

The Magicians returns with more celebrities and more jaw-dropping illusions. Darren McMullen hosts the second programme in a series of six, which sees comedy magician Pete Firman joined by Countryfile and Watchdog’s Julia Bradbury; Barry and Stuart paired with Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood; and World Champion of Magic, Latimer with American icon David Hasselhoff.

With each act performing four tricks, two of which are live, anything could happen. The stakes are high, as once all three acts have performed viewers get to vote for their favourite, with the losing team having to face a terrifying live forfeit.

Highlights include a death-defying escape, some ninja magic and an awe-inspiring levitation, but who will have to face the forfeit once the votes have been counted?
