Popeater's Naughty or Nice with Rob
David Hasselhoff and his two beautiful daughters, Hailey and Taylor-Ann, tell me the biggest misconception about their super-famous father is that he's a raging alcoholic. "He's not. He's a hands-on parent more than anything else. He's the best father you could ever ask for. He's our best friend," David's great kids tell me.Stopping by my new HDNet show, 'Naughty But Nice With Rob,' the Hoff family admits they're all scared about the debut of their reality show, 'The Hasselhoffs,' this Sunday on A&E but also relieved for everyone to learn the truth about their family.

"The first thing we talk about is the hamburger incident," David tells me. "We face life head on. Our family is about honesty. We are not trying to be famous. We are famous. The show shows how hard it is to stay on top and that's what I want to show world."To see my entire interview with David, Taylor and Hailey, where they talk about their new dating rules for him as well as his new calendar that has various images of him with and without clothes, check out 'Naughty But Nice With Rob' on HDNet this Saturday at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm. The A&E original real life series “The Hasselhoffs,” spotlighting the life of single dad David Hasselhoff and his two daughters Taylor Ann, 20, and Hayley, 18, premieres Sunday, December 5 at 10/9c on A&E.Produced by “American Idol” producers FremantleMedia North America, the ten-episode half-hour series brings viewers inside the household of David Hasselhoff where “The Hoff” is just “Dad” and examines the challenges he faces as a single parent raising two young-adult daughters. Despite juggling his multiple entertainment and business endeavors, he is the ultimate “stage dad” and will do anything to help guide his daughters’ decisions as they pursue careers in entertainment and manage their up-and-coming group “Bella Vida.”The series tags along with father and daughter Taylor Ann performing side-by-side on set of “The Young and The Restless,” goes behind-the-scenes with Hayley at “Huge,” steps in-studio with “Bella Vida” to record, write songs and meet with producers, watches David’s preparations for a comedy roast and travels to Austria where David orchestrates a production of an epic scale, one where the entire family’s reputation hangs in the balance. With three entertainers with big personalities and an unparalleled sibling rivalry between the girls in the house, there is never a dull moment with “The Hasselhoffs,” but throughout it all, David proves he is a dedicated father and no matter what challenges he faces, he has the best interests of his daughters in mind.Listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as “The Most Watched TV Star in the World,” David Hasselhoff has been on television for more than 30 years.  Whether you recognize him from “Knight Rider,” “Baywatch,” or “America's Got Talent,” there is no disputing the iconic status of “The Hoff.” In between stints on TV, starring roles on Broadway, live performances and business ventures that have taken him worldwide, he is also a single dad, raising two very driven daughters. Hayley, recently starred in the series “Huge” and is signed with Ford Models, and Taylor Ann recently guest-starred on “The Young and the Restless,” and is a communications major at the University of Arizona. The Hasselhoff girls form the group “Bella Vida,” which has toured with their dad abroad and they are currently working on an album.

Hasselhoff Shooting a Musical Number for A&E Series

Thanks to Knight Rider Online

As we heard from some people over Twitter, David was downtown today filming a music video for his upcoming A&E reality show. According to Knight Rider Online, the production crew contacted Paul Casey for some KITT replicas. Paul Casey brought out his baby daughter's KITT from Vegas for the shoot, along with some other replicas from our friends, the Knights of the West Coast. Gary Hunter, Alex Wong and Jennifer Catano also provided KITTs for filming.Members from Knight Rider Online will be posting an eyewitness report soon, stay tuned!Update: Michael Pajaro from KRO just posted a recap of what he saw today at the filming. More behind the cut!

Michael Knight and KITT were reunited on the streets of L.A. today - David Hasselhoff was downtown filming a video for his new reality series coming to A&E. I think this will become either the opening credits for the new show or be a promotional video. The day started with a rehearsal in a very hot parking lot in Chinatown. It was a little surreal; there were about 30 Baywatch lifeguards wandering around along with a German Brass Band with matching Bavarian girls, a bunch of women wearing Don't Hassle the Hoff shirts and probably a dozen Hasselhoff lookalikes. There were 4 KITTs there, provided by Paul Casey and Knights of the West Coast. The concept of the video is that the Hoff drives up in a KITT, steps out, and gets swarmed by fans representing all the aspects of his career. Everyone breaks into dance to a medley of the Hoff's songs: Hooked on a Feeling (Ooga Chaka), Turn The Radio Up (by his daughter) and Jump Into My Car. They did a few run-throughs with just the dancers, then the Hoff showed up around 4:00 for a few rehearsals. Hasselhoff was always the showman, psyching up the dancers/extras with his typical "let's hear it for the Hoff!" bravado. They then moved the production to Pershing Square in downtown L.A. where it was more run-through after run-through. They cut back to using only 3 KITTs instead of four, but they looked good driving down Hill Street. And seeing the Hoff flanked by his daughters and all of the other dancers... it really felt like a fun celebration of the Hoff. We've been asked not to post video of the production, but we can share a few stills from the day. Look for the finished production soon on A&E.I really want to thank Paul Casey for inviting us to be a part of the event and to be able to share (what we can) with everyone.Oh and we're not done with news from Paul Casey and the Hoff for the week... More to come.

Hasselhoffs Hit Back At Tabloids With U.S. Reality Show

As we all know, David and his daughters have been filming their reality show for A&E, which is set to premiere sometime in the Fall. In this article, Hayley says she hopes to show how the family really is and put all the tabloid rumors to rest. I hope they do, the previous UK shows were really great in showing the personal side of the family.

From ContactMusic

DAVID HASSELHOFF and his teenage daughters are planning to air out their family dramas in a U.S. version of their candid U.K. reality show - in a bid to put ongoing tabloid rumours to rest. The Baywatch star and his two actress daughters, 17-year-old Hayley and 20-year-old Taylor Ann, are working on a deal to bring their 2009 show, Meet the Hasselhoffs, Stateside.Hayley admits the series could shock audiences with behind-the-scenes insights into her dad's highly-publicised battle with alcoholism and his split from the girls' mother, actress Pamela Bach. But she also hopes it will help critics see a different side to the Hasselhoff family. She says, "I think the biggest thing of why we're doing it is to prove the tabloids wrong. The greatest thing about our family is that we don't care. We don't care if anybody talks bad about us. We laugh it off. We stay true to ourselves. We know what's happening at home. We don't need to tell the public - we don't need to explain it to the public..."I think the show's really going to represent how we're all best friends and how we tell each other everything."

Interview with Taylor Ann on Her Recent Projects

From Daytime Confidential
By Jamey Giddens

She isn't a nurse, but she played one of TV. On the Wed., June 16 episode of The Young and the Restless, a returning hero was desperate to use his medical prowess to save the life of his dying mother, amid shocking family secrets. When his physician's assistant almost gave his mother the wrong medicine, Dr. Snapper Foster (superstarDavid Hasselhoff, reprising the role that made him a household name) understandably went ballistic, yelling at the nurse until she burst into tears. This could have been any number of scenarios playing out on any of daytime's seven sudsers, save for the fact that the incompetent nurse in question was portrayed by one Taylor-Ann Hasselhoff—David's daughter. I caught up with the beautiful, young starlet to get the dish on what it was like appearing with her Pops in Genoa City. We also chatted about the Hasselhoffs' upcoming, untitled A&E docusoap, which will feature Taylor-Ann and her sister Hayley Hasselhoff (who also stars in the upcoming ABC Family soap, HUGE) pursuing their career aspirations, while dad keeps a watchful eye.Daytime Confidential:You made your soap opera debut today! What was it like working with your dad on The Young and the Restless?Taylor-Ann Hasselhoff: Working on The Young and the Restless with my dad was an absolutely surreal experience! He is my mentor, best friend and inspiration, so being able to act and perform with him allowed me to really get into character. I felt comfortable around him and he brought out my confidence as an actress. He is such a blast to work with!DC: When you were a kid, did he ever talk about his time on the soap?TH: Yes, my dad has talked to me about this soap many times growing up, always telling me the funny stories of him staying up all night learning his lines, because they gave him a script filled with 40 or more pages of dialogue a night! He has some other great stories that really gave me the inspiration and encouragement to follow my dreams.DC: On Y&R, you play a nurse, whom Dr. Snapper Foster, as played by your dad, has to yell at in a scene. Was that a fun scenario to have to act out?TH: Such a fun scenario because it gave us a more challenging scene than I thought we would have together. My dad and I never fight, so being able to do this on camera was really fun! My dad is the funniest guy I know. I kept telling him before the scene, "Dad, now don't go cracking a joke in the middle of the scene." We had such a great time acting this scene out!DC: You will be appearing with your dad, and sister Hayley, in an upcoming A&E docusoap, which focuses on the younger Hasselhoffs pursuing your career dreams, while David lends a hand. Is acting something you want to pursue full-time?TH: Yes, acting has always been a huge passion of mine since I was a little girl, as well as singing. I love to perform, sing and act as its a way to escape reality and go into this dream world where I feel most at home. I will be continuing to act and sing for the rest of my life!DC: What are some of the other career paths we will see the Hasselhoff girls pursue on the upcoming series?TH: Besides the acting, auditions and seeing my sister get the role on the new ABC family series HUGE, A&E follows our journey to becoming a sister band together. You will see our ups and downs, disappointments and accomplishments as we work hard together to try to make it in the business.DC: Would you ever do a soap for a lengthy stint?TH: Yes, I would love to do a soap for a lengthy stint! Soaps are so much fun and everyone who works on them are just great people to work with and be around all day long! Soaps are also great training and the hardest to do in the business. For more information on the Hasselhoffs' upcoming A&E docusoap go to A&E's official website. HUGE, starring Hayley Hasselhoff, premieres June 28 on ABC Family. For more information on HUGE go here.

David and Taylor Talk about the "Untitled David Hasselhoff Project"

From The Insider

theinsiderDavid Hasselhoff finally revealed what ruffles his feathers while in New York to promote "The Untitled David Hasselhoff Project," an upcomingA&E reality show documenting his family."We have a bird named Peaches," he said. "Peaches is like the star of the show because it won't shut up."Daughter Taylor-Ann explained the premise: "It basically just shows the dynamic between me, my dad, and my sister. No one has really ever seen that before. They hear bad press, good press. Finally we get to show people who we really are." David hopes the show will counterbalance "this worldwide image that we have" because "when we close the doors, we're just like every other family."When "The Insider" broke the news to the former "Baywatch" star that Pamela Anderson was voted off "Dancing with the Stars," he and his daughter joined in unison for an "Oh no." The Hoff revealed that he had been invited to compete in the ballroom, but turned down the offer because 'I don't really want to go up against Pamela." He hinted that "I might do the next one."
