Ex-Australian Idol judge Mark Holden has sold his trademark ‘touchdown’ catchphrase to former Baywatch hunk David Hasselhoff.Holden has priced his renowned Idol catchphrase at the domestic and international rate of 10,000 dollars after it was replicated on the Channel 10 talent quest.Hasselhoff will in turn be able to perform the energetic move in his role as a judge on hit series ‘America’s Got Talent’.However, there was a catch to the sale - the fee must be donated to charity.Holden, holidaying with his family at Hasselhoff’s Bel Air mansion in LA, revealed news of the signature trade to Confidential.“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but a cheque would be better,” News.com.au quoted Holden, as saying.“David can’t wait to use it - and he’s planning to donate the money to a charity associated with the LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department),” he added.
