Universal Pictures' Ted 2, the sequel to 2012's box office hit Ted, is officially set for showing in theaters beginning June 26. As with the original film, Seth MacFarlane directs, co-wrote the script and co-produces the follow-up to the highest-grossing original R-rated comedy movie of all time. He will also once more star as the voice of the magical teddy bear Ted.
Ted 2 continues the adventures and misadventures of John Bennet (portrayed by Mark Wahlberg) and MacFarlanes' Ted. Also returning for the sequel are Jessica Barth as Tami-Lynn, Ted's girlfriend and co-worker at the grocery store, and Patrick Warburton as Guy, John's co-worker at his office. The new cast for the sequel includes Amanda Seyfried as Samantha Jackson, plus Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Sam J. Jones, Dennis Haysbert, Richard Schiff, Michael Dorn, Curtis Stigers, John Slattery, David Hasselhoff, Tom Brady, Philip Casnoff, Nana Visitor, among others. Patrick Stewart will serve as the film's unseen narrator. It's been rumored that William Shatner will also be appearing in the film. It's also been rumored that Mila Kunis will be doing a cameo since in the first Ted, Wahlberg's John and Kunis' Lori were seen finally getting their wish of settling down and having a happy, peaceful married life together.

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall in Germany."I had been in Berlin in 1987 and in 1988 but the first time I really got into what was going on with the wall was in ’89, when my song “Looking for Freedom†was #1 for eight weeks in West Germany," David tells TIME magazine."And then the Berlin Wall mysteriously, through the grace of God, came down. The last time I’d seen my German promoter before that day, I’d asked him when he thought the wall was going to come down. He was just about 60 years old then, and he said, “Not in my lifetime.†I remember that statement. On November 9, he called me and said, “You’re not going to believe this! The wall is down! The people are free!â€David recounts his time in Berlin before and after the wall came down. Read the complete article at
David tells NPR, "I was a guy who happened to do a show called Knight Rider, who happened to sing a song called 'Looking For Freedom,'" says actor, activist and singer David Hasselhoff.Hasselhoff was a certified heartthrob in the States, but he built his European reputation on that pop song. NPR's Rachel Martin asked him how he came to sing an unforgettable concert in Berlin on New Year's Eve back in 1989 after the Wall fell."I had been behind the Wall eight or nine times since 1987, to kind of further my music career with the Knight Rider car; if they wouldn't come and see me, they would come and see the car," Hasselhoff says. "I hit big with a single and they invited me to sing, and I said, 'Only if I could sing on the Wall.' And they said yes!"Even with the massive crowd singing along, Hasselhoff says he had no idea whether the performance would have any lasting impact. It wasn't until he saw people holding signs while on tour, thanking him for the fall of the Wall, that he realized how much it meant."I didn't know if it was a joke or not, I really didn't," he says. "It wasn't a joke; it was like 'Thank you for the fall of the Wall and thank you for our childhood.'"Read the rest of the article at

And then he was back on set again - that's my only brush with fame."Fan Phil Burdekin, 38, who works for Flight Centre in CI Tower, said: “It was very surreal to see David Hasselhoff on a wet Wednesday morning in New Malden.“He was quite welcoming. He was happy to take a few pictures. When I was younger he was a bit of a hero in our household. Knight Rider and Baywatch would come on back-to-back in the eighties.â€Source:
A new show from FremantleMedia in London is in the works to combine original comedy with the world of professional advertising with brands involved in the story line. The sitcom is about a fictional ad agency that works on briefs from real-life clients. Brands are going to be integrated into the plot that will enable them to communicate with audiences. Each episode of Buy This! straddles the line between fact and fiction. The series itself depicts the everyday work-life of a set of individuals from a fictitious Helsinki based ad agency who are striving to make the best commercials money can buy. Buy This! highlights the clichés of advertising and uses comedy as a medium to feature participating brand’s key messaging in a new light.Juha-Matti Raunio, the VP said, "The common myth is that incorporating brands into a scripted show in a natural way can be hard or almost impossible. From day one, we focused on the things we could create together with brands. We wanted to establish a platform where brands could have an active role in the story instead of being just a logo on a wall. And on top of that, they brought actors, celebrity cameos such as David Hasselhoff and of course the brand itself to the table—resources that can be only achieved through co-operation. I think everybody wins; the storytellers, the participating brands and most importantly the audience."Rasmus Bange, the senior brand manager at Fazer, said, “Well my first feeling was: nice! And the fact that it’s great that there is something new. Although it seemed a bit scary at first—to put our brand into the hands of screenwriters, the advertising agency and the TV channel—there was something telling me that this could become a good thing. The best thing is that it combines entertainment and marketing communications into one interesting package.â€FremantleMedia plans on unveiling the series at MIPCOM October 5-8, 2015 in France.
